Foldle and Riffle came to the App Store on Oct 23, 2026, the day iPhone Duo shipped. Here are the facts. Screenshots, icons and video are on their way.

Foldle

Daily Fold Puzzle

Foldle is a daily puzzle about folding paper. Each day brings a new origami silhouette, and players fold a square of paper to match it in as few folds as they can. On iPhone Duo, players will make each fold by physically folding the phone (hinge controls arrive in a free update shortly after launch; version 1.0 folds by touch on every iPhone); on any other iPhone, they drag. Results share Wordle-style as a spoiler-free line, like “Foldle #23 · 4 folds (par 4)”, and streaks keep players coming back. Foldle is free, with an optional Pro upgrade that adds the full puzzle archive, unlimited practice, hints and themes.

Riffle

Flipbook Animator

Riffle is a flipbook animator for iPhone. People draw frame by frame on paper-textured pages with onion skin, then play the result by slowly closing iPhone Duo, the way you’d thumb through a paper flipbook. On other iPhones, dragging the page edge riffles the pages. (Hinge controls for iPhone Duo arrive in a free update shortly after launch; version 1.0 riffles by touch on every iPhone.) Animations export as MP4 video or GIF. A new animation prompt arrives every week, and new paper and palette packs every month. Riffle is free, with an optional Pro upgrade for unlimited projects and frames, HD export without a watermark, and every paper, palette, brush and template.

About Paper & Hinge

Paper & Hinge is a tiny independent studio making paper-craft apps for phones that fold. Foldle and Riffle are its first two apps. Both are built around the hinge of iPhone Duo and both are complete on every other iPhone. All of the art and sound in both apps is generated in code, and neither app collects any data.
